Here's some of my favorite players given current ADP, upside and recent developments.
1. Giovani Bernard
Damn, Gio is looking better and better these days. He's getting goal line work. He's got Hue Jackson running the offense and Jeremy Hill just hurt his shoulder. I'm fine grabbing Gio as early as the mid to late 1st round in a 12 team PPR. F@%$ that "No RB Theory" BullShI~~t. Grab Gio and thank the Ballblogger later. Monitor this Hill shoulder injury closely.
2. Montee Ball
His appendectomy is a blessing in disguise for those who want him and have seen his ADP fall a bit. Come on now. We all know the Sheriff will audible @ the line of scrimmage and get Montee the ball with running lanes to exploit.
3. Jordan Mathews
You might be surprised to see a rookie on this list but my man is gonna crush it. Maclin will likely miss some time and Desean is out of town. This will leave plenty of targets for J.Math in the offense that produced the second most total yards last season. Respect players.
4. Andre Ellington
Anyone who follows me knows how I feel about AE this season. Like I said before, F@#k that "No RB Theory" AE will get his. He lost a goal line opp to J.Dwyer last game but please, that ain't slowing AE down and I expect AE to be in the goal line mix.
5. Andy Dalton
Dalton will be more efficient this season. That new contract will help Dalton's confidence and he will flourish in this Hue Jackson system. This ginger is no joke in 2014. He's a steal given ADP. Wrote a lil' more bout' this player and some others a few weeks back. Article Here.
6. Golden Tate
Tate better get Calvin Johnson something nice as a gift during the holiday season because Calvin is the main reason why Tate will do so well this season. Heck, even a guy like Eric Decker would be a fantasy stud playing alongside Calvin. I think you get the point.
7. Tom Brady
Brady got kicked in the nuts last season. This year is a different story. He has now been through a campaign with many from his WR corps and the possible return of Gronk looms. Brady is a great pick given current ADP.
8. Hakeem Nicks
I wasn't on Nicks until I saw how he looked last night and read fellow Ballblogger @BallbloggerMan 's "Don't Call It A Comeback" article last week. We all know how good Andrew Luck is and we all know how good Hicks has played at times in his career.
7 of the 8 plays that Green was part of with the Chargers first team in the opener were plays that he ran pass routes. Precursor? Foreshadow? Call it what you want. I call it the "The Dawning of The Age of Ladarius." Grab him as your TE2 and stash him. He has potential to be a big time fantasy weapon and is worthy of a draft and stash on any roster.
10. Devonta Freeman
No surprise here. S.Jax has a lot of miles on his tires and Freeman can catch passes and serve as goal line back.
11/12. Mark Ingram and Khiry Robinson
Draft them both if you can. Imagine if one gets hurt? Or if Pierre goes down? The Saints are going to run the ball plenty and these RB's are looking great right now! They can both catch passes when needed as well - bump in value..
I also love me some; Zach Ertz, Tyler Eifert, Jay Cutler, Andrew Luck, TY Hilton, Shonn Green, Legarrette Blount, M.Sanu
There you have it. A nice little list of some of the best ADP values the Ballblogger is seeing right now.
